The Woodleigh Hills Native Apricot Rub contains a rich infusion of the Australian native Pittosporum angustifolium tree leaves, brewing for a minimum of three weeks to encourage the product to be more powerful and beneficial.

Research and tests done on Pittosporum angustifolium have shown that it contains Saponins, Tannins, Flavonoid and Saponins.  These compounds within the plant have illustrated many health benefits, including: anti-allergic, anti-cancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, anti-pruritic, anti-spasmodic, detoxification and galactagogue.

Originally used by traditional owners of Australia for many ailments including skin irritations and infections such as eczema, acne and candida.

The plant is infused with locally sourced extra virgin olive oil. The certified oil is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants that promote skin flexibility, moisturising and anti-ageing.

Locally sourced bees wax is used to combine the products together. Beeswax contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.  These qualities offer the perfect balance of nourishment to calm the skin, keep it clear and bacteria free, heal wounds and fight infection
